Request for Open Soapbox Ideas

As we head into 2006 I want to pitch everyone on considering writing for Comixpedia. Email me if you're interested in any type of writing for the site. One thing we're always looking for is interesting one-shot column pieces from folks working in webcomics in some capacity. We call these "open soapboxes".

You can check out what we've published before here.

I'd love to write for you guys at some point. I'll keep an eye out for possible topics.

I may also be interested at some point. I'm tentatively thinking about writing an article on single panel webcomics and how people are pushing the boundaries with them.

Xavier, I'd also be up for doing a cover design for the magazine at some point, if you're interested. :)

I am certainly interested in doing something like this. I used to write for Jeff Mason and Billy K's Indymag, so this could be fun. When I have something worked up, I will get in touch with you.

He's too modest to mention that he reread all 300 issues of cerebus in one sitting (or 20) to write this thorough review: http://www.indyworld.com/indy/summer_2004/review_cerebus/index.html

It takes a special kind of insanity to do that.
