So, anyway, one of the kind Wikipedians (A. Dashiel) has completely blitzed their list of webcomics, adding maybe a hundred previously unlisted entries and counting. The end result is I'm importing a very large number of articles that need cleanup and so forth.

quick update: I have added somewhere around 70-80 articles and updated maybe a dozen or so. I made *one* transfer *from* Comixpedia to update an existing Wikipedia article (Knock on Wood, if anyone's curious). As I was updating, I only saw one Wikipedia article up for deletion (Theory of People).
Yay yay yay!
We now have 8790 articles left in order to reach the 10,000 article milestone.
However.....
A job well done is another three job. So much a lot more work for us editors. We already have ton of articles to cleanup, repair, and expand. Now we have more jobs to do. The job is never ending and expanding each time a new article appear or we need to add a missing article.
Ha, you ain't kidding. I just spent the better half of an hour updating the first thirteen letters of the list(s) of webcomics. The second half of the alphabet will come later.
And then there's the cleanup and dewikification of the new articles, and then it'll be back to business (lack thereof?) as usual.
We be back in the bussiness of fighting and killing spammers bot (they come back to life too often). The other business we are doing is cleaning up after vanity creators. They are hated even on comixpedia.org for their savage ads. There are occasional attempt to clean up backlog.
That normally the business as usual. Other than that, you see me adding lot of missing articles with lacking information and hacking away at some of the backlog at weekends.
