What like dropping a few peppermint patties into a glass of milk? Is there such a thing as Mint Flavored InstatQuik mix? Details! :)

by Anonymous - 06/27/2003 - 14:22
It's one of the simplest non-alchoolic drinks you can find in a pub around here. I'm ipressed that you never heard of it before. It's just a big glass of milk where has been poured some mint syrup. It's not very popular 'cause of it poison-green color, but it tastes good and i guess it's even far more healty than a coke. Well, it's a drink that really fills your stomach.

Picking just one? Now that's just tough. I'm an equal lover of coffee (with cream and sugar... the real stuff; no equal or sweet'n'low for me), Pibb Xtra, Bawls, Amp, and Blueberry oolong tea (caffeine's the key, here, if you couldn't tell).
Then, there's also the new Coke Blak, which I'm still a bit pissed off over, since I had the same idea... two days before their first press release about it :(

Tequila and gravy. It goes to places in you that you never knew existed.
... Seriously? Fentiman's Cola. Coke and Pepsi are starlight shadows in comparison.

I'm partial to mead lately. Or did you just mean non-alcoholic beverages?
Peach cream soda and my own special high-octane mocha (four shots of espresso + four teaspoons of cocoa powder) are all-time favorites.
I drink a lot of iced green tea recently, though. Because I'm Asian.

I'm helping the Economy?
by Tim Demeter - 04/07/2006 - 14:50
So if drinking water is bad for the economy, does that mean the large amounts of alcohol I tend to consume on the weekends are helping people in third world countries by improving the overall economy?

I buy my water, because not even the locals will drink from the tap here. That's gotta tell you something.
So yes, I'm helping keep capitalism alive and functioning by drinking cool, refreshing, water.
