It's one of the simplest non-alchoolic drinks you can find in a pub around here. I'm ipressed that you never heard of it before. It's just a big glass of milk where has been poured some mint syrup. It's not very popular 'cause of it poison-green color, but it tastes good and i guess it's even far more healty than a coke. Well, it's a drink that really fills your stomach.

Unless you're lactose-intolerant. Besides, surely mint syrup carries sugar along with it, which would just pump up the refined carb levels something fierce? I'm experimenting with iced teas this summer. You can't get American-style diet iced tea mix here (and, since most of it's aspartame-based instead of Splenda, I probably shouldn't drink much of that anyhow), so I'm trying to figure out from memory how to do green and orange pekoe iced from scratch. The first pitcher of orange pekoe was okay, but it needs more lemon. In colder weather, it's all about the fruit infusions in white/green/rooibos teas, Diet Dr. Pepper, Ame, Aqualibra and mineral waters.

Picking just one? Now that's just tough. I'm an equal lover of coffee (with cream and sugar... the real stuff; no equal or sweet'n'low for me), Pibb Xtra, Bawls, Amp, and Blueberry oolong tea (caffeine's the key, here, if you couldn't tell).

Then, there's also the new Coke Blak, which I'm still a bit pissed off over, since I had the same idea... two days before their first press release about it :(

I'm partial to mead lately. Or did you just mean non-alcoholic beverages?

Peach cream soda and my own special high-octane mocha (four shots of espresso + four teaspoons of cocoa powder) are all-time favorites.

I drink a lot of iced green tea recently, though. Because I'm Asian.
