John Allison! Bill Watterson!
The Non-Adventures of Wonderella

Those all sound great, and even though it may seem far-fetched, I think it might just be worth several annoying emails to Bill Watterson.
Keep the suggestions coming :)

Wow, Bill Watterson WOULD be a pisser. Yep, it'd at least be worth an email to see what he (or his lawyer or whatever) would say.
Cast my votes for Derek Kirk, John Allison, Dylan Meconis, Shaenon Garrity, Spike, Jenn Manley Lee or....Scott McCloud.

Bill Watterson is an inspirational talent, a paragon of artisitc integrity, an all-round good guy, and a personal hero. He is not, however, a webcartoonist...and shouldn't that be the main rule?
How 'bout Roger "Fred the Clown" Langridge? He'd do it.

I can't believe that no one's mentioned one of my favourite web cartoonists Vera Brosgol.
I also wouldn't mind seeing Derik Kirk Kim, Shaenon Garrity or maybe Bill Holbrook.

maybe i'm just retarded, but there doesn't seem to be a way to view all the past covers. i was trying to check out kazu's cover for the july issue, but can't seem to get there.
also, i'd love to do a new cover sometime in the near future. that first one i did was god awful!

We had a few recent threads on cover art - this is interesting - our original art director Bill had a thread on a wish list for cover artists:
Of the named folks we've had:
And we haven't had covers from:
UPDATED: A few more on the "wish list" now on the "contributed list"
