It requires a mySQL database and some installing(of course) but it is really nice. I've used a few and this is my favorite. I'm in the process of taking the 3 comics i have going and separating them onto separate pages and this php dealy will let me do that. You can see it at work on my page. The page to get it at is
http://www.enisoc.com/.
it is NICE. I can't say enough good things about it!
btPHP is dam awesome!

I'm looking at this program. What just cracked me up was the pricing:
Pricing
btPHP is free to use for the first 60,000 (sixty thousand) days. After that time, you will be required to pay a licensing fee of 99 USD per installation. Failure to do so will result in lots of crying, and believe me, you wouldn't want to see me cry. NOTE: The evaluation period has been shortened from 100,000 days to 60,000 days. This new period applies both to new versions and all previous ones.
++++
60,000 days is approximately 164 years. I should live that long. I guess it's a joke but than why go to the trouble to move it from 100,000 to 60,000 days?
Stewy - how do you do set this up to do multiple comics? Like on your site? How did you swing the separate archives for AIR and your other comics?
Yeah,
I found BTphp about 8 months ago and enisoc's programming has been priceless, i use it for my own webcomic and the multiposting is nothing shot of brilliant. I still need to optimise the code mind.
My guess is that stewped is using either multiple installations or has a custom jobbie from eni. but that is a damn good job on the template.
Looks like stewped has done a mult-installation thing.
I've got this set up now at xaviarxerexes.com. Although I haven't looked under the hood at the PHP it does work well. I'd still love something like this to add support for storylines and separate archives - maybe someday.
Is anyone using the comic search module?
I just started using this this week in a new comic, and it's the one script that didn't totally mystify me. yay.

Whoops, i've been busy with school so it's been a LONG time since i've been here. To answer the questions for the purpose of hopefully helping someone else with them:
I've got 3 installs going of the btPHP. Just changed the templates for each comic recently and i have had no problems with it. I also got the Comic Search Module going, don't know if anyone uses it, but I find it VERY USEFUL when i want to show someone in person a specific comic. You enter in a short description in one field and can enter a huge description in another field (if you like). There are 2 settings for installing it, and the one i'm using, the search query has to be at least four (4) letters long or it won't find anything. it won't find similar words though, only exact spellings. the install file comes with pretty thorough instructions. you can try it on my page if you like, do a separate search for "pants" and "not". Even though both words are in the comic description, only "pants" will bring up results. I liked it enough to install it, and it's easy to uninstal if you dont like it.
If i live to be 60,000 days old, i'll happily pay him 99 bucks. =]
