Just wondering how many people have considered doing a webcomic dealing with the recent disaster in Asia... Should appeals for donations to aid organizations make it into the comic itself, or appear outside of it, in a blog entry or something?

I hadn't thought about it seriously till I saw your comment. Now I'm thinking of sending a character to join the relief effort.
An appeal in the comic or the blog or both would be great. It might also be good to put up a link on the comic page to the relief organisations wanting donations. The link could stay put after the appeal-strip and blog entry disappeared into the archives: things might be desparate out there for a long time. The banner on Thomas Dye's page is the best example I've seen so far.
