Webcomics Documentary

My name is J. Andrew World, I am an Illustrator and a node, plus I happen to be a producer.

I am producing/writting a documentary on web comics. This project is as yet unnamed, but I am sure many things will change over the next few months. This group I started to promote this film will be updated once a month or whenever there is a major announcement. The first draft of the treatment is done and the second draft has begun. Once the second draft is done, webcomics insiders are welcome to look at it.

Interesting....

what aspects of the webcomic scene are you planning on exploring? Will it be a historical look at webcomics?

I just finished up the first draft of the film treatment, and I began writing and it began as an exploration of the medium, however it turned into the revolution against print. The second draft is going to solidify what my thoughts are. We will be looking at the history of webcomics as well as speculating on the future and discuss the beginning of how webcomics have began reshape print comics.

seeing as how I have never been to a meeting, and I am not sure how it works, I wont. But I will say this, I came acrossed it online and called up my buddy Rob Balder, who is a member, before I invited myself to join.

So it's about a year later and I'm really curious as to whether this ever got made or not.  I was spotty in attending WW meetups last year so maybe I just missed it but if anyone was following this or if Andrew still visits here let me know what's up!

Thanks.
