I'm trying out a service called click & buy from webpay.com, which seems to be affiliated somehow with British telecom giant BT. I'll let you know how it goes.
One thing already is majorly different: you have to talk to a sales rep, negotiate a rate, and then sign lots of paperwork before you get going. Granted, that's a low barrier to entry, similar to, say, buying a car, but it's not so low as PayPal (where you just have to sign up online), which is PayPal's greatest market strength.
