There'll never be another you ...

... but what if there had to be? The artist switchover at Least I Could Do set me thinking. If something happened to your, or your artist's, drawing hand and you could pick any cartoonist from your daily trawl as a replacement, whose style do you think would suit your characters best?
My first choice from the artists in my daily trawl would be Charles M. Schulz. A real answer later, when I've thought of one. No, I take that back: answer as if anyone you'd ask would say yes, regardless of minor real-world factors such as reasonable expectation to get paid more than you could afford, or being dead, or anything like that. Or come up with a reasonable answer, or both. My reasonable answer later.

None!
I'll be seeing my precious comics in hell before I let them be soiled by the hands of another!

I'd choose William G.

I would so go out of my way to soil your comic with my filthy hands.

Nobody's. If I lost my right arm, I'd draw with my left. If I lost both arms, I'd draw with my feet. If I were aquadripelegic, I'd draw with my mouth. If I were dead I'd come back from the dead and draw my comic with my own zombie hands ...

Okaaay... but the thrust of the question isn't really whether you'd allow anyone else to do it but who do you think would be best able if you did.
In my case, Shaenon Garrity.

If I could pick absolutely anybody in comics, probably Pia Guerra or Michael Gaydos, since I know they can do really good faces. Among web comic folk... hmmm... Faith Erin Hicks, maybe? Or Justine Shaw.

Okay, I'd get Milo Manara to draw my comic... If only for the astoundingly detailed sexual organs.

OK, if I were a quadripelegic, I'd ask Chuck Close to start making my comics. Since my comics are autobiographical, we'd have to swap brains first.

I'm the writer for the webcomic in my sig, I'm working with another artist to draw it.
I think I could switch to another artist without too much trouble. I'm not into micromanaging, I prefer to let the artist interpret the script as he sees fit and come up with his personal vision.
But if I could have any artist draw it.... I think Adam Warren could do an interesting take on it. I liked the humour in his Dirty Pair work.

I'd have Bill Charbonneau (Voices in My Hand) do the art on my 'toon, if he ever wanted to do it. His cartoony style would mesh in well with what I've done so far. Of course, I'd love to get some guest art from all of you out there to see how you'd interpret my characters.
