It's for all webcomics, online or no longer online ;), infinite canvas or newspaper style, whether you've been online since the internet was first born, or only started updating your webcomic this year. It's meant to be the definitive guide to webcomics.
If you mean this list of webcomics then yes, that too is for all webcomics (although it will quite likely have a fair bit of work done to it as time goes on).
That's all as far as I know. I'm just a user though, and not an admin :)

Wow, the wiki grew really fast. I am myself, a editor of comixpedia.org or WebcomicWiki or whatever it was called. I did a lot of work today already!

The "List of all webcomics" on there is, well, tiny XD. I wasnt much suprised, when i went to the british section, to not see my comics there, but it also doesnt include SSDD, which has been going for bloody years and is great. It also misses out High Maintenance, which is pretty unknown, but very cool. Hm, doesnt Keenspace (or whatever stupid name they changed it to) maintain a list of all the strips on there? just copy and pasting that might be a start. Also looking on archive.org at the old Big Panda site would help as well.

It really not a list but an encyclopedia for webcomic or an encyclopedia that specialized in webcomic.
On the other hand, comixpedia.org really need help from you!
Comic Genesis' list? That might be useful! Btw, the article"list of webcomics" currently have estiminated 800 names for webcomic.
Nice to meet you guys. I am actually an adiminstator for comixpedia.org (promoted a few day ago) but I can't really mess with the website. I am more of a hitman for the community of comixpedia.org (in other words, a moderator holded at the mercy of the community). So I am not really above and beyond the editors that help edits the wiki.
Is it just me, or is there no link to the new wiki on the main page?

The wiki is really doing just OK. It just that we want more new blood (Newbies). Newbies are like our lifeline on the wiki. Without them, we could not grow, the popluarity will not grow, and the encyclopedia will not improve as fast.
I can say that newbies are our supply line and experienced editors are valueable resource. The more diverse they are, the better, the more webcomic they read the better, etc, the more we have the better.
(Warning: Ego boasting :) )
On the other hand, I boasted that I have more than 900 edits in 2nd place behind Tedzsee (The other adiminstrator). I also boasted that I delete more crap than any other editors on comixpedia. Hmmm...what I can boast more about.....oh yeah....I bet I create more comixpedia article than anyone else. On the other hand, my boasting didn't really matter, because to me, I want comixpedia to become the number one resource for webcomic.
Well, something to tell the grandkids about. :D

If you talking about Comixpedia the free encyclopedia, it currently upgrading to 1.5 which is the new version of mediawiki.
The smell of open source software delivery in the morning...
Anyway MediaWiki is the software that power comixpedia.org. It make sense for Comixpedia to actually run on MediaWiki because it was a open source package and comixpedia is open content and they are developed by the Wikimedia Foundation (Don't confuse this wikipedia) which is the parent organziation of Wikipedia. The MediaWiki is the most powerful wiki engine availiable on the internet. Thus it have practicality and idealistic reason.
