I never do link exchanges (well okay, I'm considering doing an automated one, but that would be it ;)). Instead I'll link to a website if I like it, or I won't. But if I do link to it, I don't expect a link in return, and I'm unlikely to even tell them about it in the first place ;)

Many people I know are put off from link exchanges. Instead I'd recommend checking out comics that are like yours and participating in webcomic forums more. I know a lot of webcomics at comic genesis comment on the fact that a lot of their readers appear to be, other webcomic artists at comic genesis (whether or not that's really the case I don't know ;) But they do think it is).

A webcomic that I find very similar to yours is Oyer. I had a quick look at yours (I'd previously seen the comic and thought it was mildly amusing) and it's getting better. I might check it out in a few month's time to see how much more it's improved :)

You also might want to consider using Comic Genesis' automated archiving/updating script (the forum people can help you out ;)).
