Lore reports that Dorothy Gambrell has put her Cat and Girl series under a Creative Commons license. You can remix her work on a noncommercial basis under the terms of a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 License.
I also noticed Dorothy has a Last FM station going - which is a great site/service by the way.
