Hope Larson Signs Two Book Deal

Publisher Weekly reports that Hope Larson has signed a deal with Simon and Schuster's young adult imprint for two graphic novels. The first is titled Chigger and is scheduled for a 2008 release. From the Publisher Weekly article:
Agent Judy Hanson negotiated the deal. Larson signed with Hanson after getting attention for her work in Flight, the fantasy anthology that had become a training ground for future graphic novelistsâ€â€Kazu Kibuishi and Kean Soo have also signed deals coming out of the book.
