The Noob is two years old!

Two years ago, on the 8th of June, I decided to draw and publish an online comic as an excuse to play around with a newly purchased graphic tablet and Ohforf'sake (naming error at creation) - noob in the online world of Clichequest - was born.

I wish I could draw better (my style is amateurish at best) and I wish that English was my first language because it'd make scripting much easier - but this doesn't stop me from enjoying the whole scripting-drawing-publishing process just as much as when I first started. If I have one regret, it is that I didn't realise how fun it'd be to draw a comic and I didn't start sooner.

The worst that I had to deal with was a writer's block that lasted a few weeks, when I thought that the well had run dry and I'd never get another idea. I pulled through because I had scripted for four months in advance and luckily the block went just as mysteriously as it had come and ideas started flowing again - but it's taught me that I should never take anything for granted.

The best was seeing the comic take off way beyond my initial expectations, today I have 20,000 readers and a couple of stalkers, who'd have thought it?!? It may just be proof that people will bookmark any old crap that they find on the internet, but I like it, like it, yes I do.
