Happy Fright Night 8!

I'm really happy with the way Fright Night 8 turned out - go check out all of the spooky-remixed webcomics at Fright Night dot org now!

We didn't put any limits on what "remix" meant and our 18 participants all approached it in their own way. I think this idea is a good one (I've gotten good feedback from the participants) so we'll probably use it again for FN9 next year.

I think this format was good because (a) it was a lot of fun, (b) you could do more or less with it based on your own inclinations, and (c) 'remixing' means that my lack of drawing skills doesn't mean I can't participate.

So, good show.

it was fairly simple concept that i think worked - not quite as gruelling as coming up with a complete spooky crossover story, but still had the benefit of working with someone you may not have been familiar with.
