The initial print run the Penny Arcade vol. 1 book “Attack of the Bacon Robots, that became available on January 25, has sold out, according to the Penny Arcade website (some scrolling required). The first printing was 30 000 copies and another is planned.

This at least gets a “Yay!” This is substantial webcomic history. Their book has outsold many titles from the big three. Evidence that webcomics could potentially command a much larger paying audience that print comics. You know it won’t be long until Hollywood comes a kowtowin’.
