Family Webcomics is a new information site, containing listings, reviews, and a variety of related webcomic content with a focus on "family-friendly" strips. It is a site created to provide a point of reference for parents and educators to find webcomics that are appropriate for children. The site lists comics according to an internal rating system, as well as using defined attributes to assist individuals in finding strips that are within their comfort zones.
We are now accepting webcomic listing submissions.
Visit the site and fill out our submission form. Due to the nature of the site, we are not accepting submission for mature comics.
FWC is proud to have several parents, educators, webcomic creators, and reviewers on our Advisory Board. We are also looking for additional volunteers to help us in various areas. If you are interested in this project and want more information, please visit the website.
Our hopes are that Family Webcomics will grow and provide a valuable resource that will help parents and educators introduce children to the joys of webcomics, but supplying them with the information that is important to them.
