Cute Ninja Girls Comes to a Close

It's been a good run - nearly a year without missing an update, but Cute Ninja Girls has ended this week, and won't likely be back again.

The short of it is that Dan couldn't do it anymore; his time is consumed by work and personal matters, and he doesn't have the time to letter and color comics anymore. But hey, that's the life of the graphic artist.

As for me, I'm developing a new comic, to be titled Spooks Inc. It'll be a solo project, and will be in black and white. Color isn't my strong suit, what with the color-blindness and all.

I'm going to miss Cute Ninja Girls. It was my first comic that was seen by more than the ten people that read my old strip in my school paper. We're both sorry it had to come to such a sudden close, but at least we tried to give it some semblence of a real ending.

 Thanks, Bill. I'm not really going anywhere, per se, and it did hurt a bit to just pull the plug, but Real Life comes into play. Who knows, maybe I'll write another comic after I finish my novel.

 Well, if you've lost passion for it then that's it.  Better to end at your apex than to have characters you love go into decline.

Best of luck on your future endeavors, guys. Â And don't let color-blindness stop you -- I'm red/green colorblind, but Photoshop gives me the ability to work with colors that I can't see. Â One of the great things about our modern age.

Yeah, but I'm a Total Sucker for Black and White

It's true, I really prefer it to color. Anyway, I am developing a new comic that will greatly differ from CNG. It'll still have humor, but will be a bit weirder and a tad darker. I'm really getting reved up creating this one, since it's entirely my own.

I didn't expect this to even get responses, let alone be bumped to the front page. Thank you, xerexes, for bumping this and thank you to those who responded.
