Brian Daniel has come up with a great premise for a webcomic, the aptly-titled Super Hereos in Bars and so far has delivered a funny strip that certainly relies on mocking superhero conventions, but is also just pretty funny.
Meh. This has been done to death in comics in the past couple years- One of the best was Hero Happy Hour http://www.geekpunk.com/buy.html - And I hear there's another new release in the works this year.
Looks similar but since it's a comic book and there's no previews at all on the website it's kind of hard for me to tell much about it.
But yeah it looks like the premise is not as original as I thought. Still if Daniels can make it funny I think his webcomic effort will be worth a read.

Brian Daniel, not Daniels.
Re: Super Heroes In Bars
Got it. Your comment almost sounds like a Run-DMC line though... :)

Re: Super Heroes In Bars
I have to go with "meh" as well.
It isn't even that funny. Now, maybe if there were *lots* of them, it would start to be funny.
And the artwork is not great either.
Re: Super Heroes In Bars
Heh.
Don't worry about it, man. The "s" mistake happens all the time.
Thanks for the plug :)
