Cooking With Anne Is Done

Surlyben's picture

My post-apocalyptic cooking comic Cooking with Anne has finished. You can see the whole (not very long) thing starting here (by chapter) or here (by single update). I plan on doing more with that setting and character in the future, but such stories will probably take place as part of my next project.

Speaking of my next project, it's called Space Pirate Apocalypse and it will be about whatever catches my fancy, but focusing on space, pirates, and apocalypses. The art will be better, bigger, and hopefully more clever. Since I'm feeling ambitious, updates will be every Sunday starting in two weeks on August 6th.

Very Inventive

Rereading the whole thing from start to finish - a very well done short story. I really enjoyed it. You should think about printing it.

But I hope the next story has more about Anne - this story leaves so much open to the imagination...

Also - what's your email Ben? (or just email me at xerexes AT comixpedia DOT com)

Thanks! I've been considering doing a Chick tract style mini-comic version for the Portland Zine Symposium so that I can maintain my "indie-cred" with my zine making friends, but it wasn't really intended for print...Â

I know I've said so before,

I know I've said so before, but I love this one. I've wanted to do a comic narrative recipe for a long time. Ben beat me to it, but he did the idea justice, so I can't really complain.
