HEROES!!!

What? Nobody around here has any comment about "Heroes"? Or is everyone waiting until the 2nd or 3rd episodes to do their commenting? Well, I like it. I liked how the Heroes powers are explained as the next step in human evolution (like the X-Men), as opposed to some super boy scout who crash lands on earth and decides to fight for truth, justice, etc, etc. I did like some of the Heroes stories better than others. But the shows just begun, and we're still gettig to know these people. What I like most about the show is that it's kind of dark, with an almost sinister undertone, and none of the "The Greatest American Hero" tongue-in-cheekiness. I have high hopes for this series. HEROES!!!

Oh, I enjoyed it, especially the "super hiro" pun, and I found it interesting they are doing short little webcomics of the characters (the first one about the Indian theoretical physicist/taxidriver) to help drum up interest. Great show. However, NBC has a habit of killing good shows before they have a chance to develop an audience. So I will be surprised if it lasts a) the whole season or b) into a second season.

1st episode kicked ass in the ratings...

From all reports, the first episode kicked major ass in the ratings. All TV stations understand high ratings, if nothing else. AND the scifi channel is re-broadcasting the episodes on fridays, too. Dee - GAAK writer dude

Your own eyes. Nobodies opinion of the show matters but your own. Invest an hour of your time and check the show out for yourself.
