Third Sinfest Book Available

Tatsuya Ishida is so reclusive even his website design hasn’t seen him since about 1999 so it’s not surprising that the release of his third Sinfest book, Dance Of the Gods last fall was so low profile. What is surprising to me at least is the continued use of Cafe Press for publishing them since Cafe Press as a book publisher doesn’t seem to have caught on with webcomic creators in a big way.

  1. He doesn’t use Cafepress to print them just to sell the books.

  2. It’s so hard to track stuff down on Tat that I was working off of my earlier understanding that he had used Cafe Press to print the first two.

Can you (or anyone) point me to something that states where he publishes the book. Amazon lists Museworks as the publisher but I had assumed that was just Tat himself (and after doing some googling I’m 99% positive that it is just Tat) so if Tat isn’t using Cafe Press to do the books, then who’s printing them for him?

  3. Hmmm, I was also under the impression that Museworks was the publisher since that is listed in both books (I have the first two). I’ll look at them again and see if they say anything else unless someone beats me to the punch.

The way I understood it was that he had them printed elsewhere and used Cafepress’ corporate fulfillment program in addition to Amazon for distribution.
