Webcartoonist Thomas K Dye is celebrating the tenth anniversary of his online comic Newshounds. The humorous and satirical comic, following the fortunes of an animal newsteam and their human "owner", first came to the web in November 1997 and is one of the longest-running Keenspot features. It ran until December 2006 as a three to five-a-week newspaper-format strip, and has run since July 2007 in graphic-novel form at two pages a week, with the spinoff Kid Gloves running in the interval. An earlier spinoff, the graphic novel Manifestations* ran from 2003 to Spring 2006.

Thomas K Dye's other current feature is the weekly surreal-comedy strip Something Happens.
