Premier of film based on webcomic creator

Cartoonist Jesse Reklaw, creator of the online strip Slow Wave, is playing himself as a central character in new film premiering this month. Compound Eye, directed and produced by Yahn Soon for John Balquist Productions, tells the fictional story of how the controversy over one strip affects him and his roommate's lives.

The first screenings of Compound Eye will be on Sunday October 7th and Saturday October 13th at the Mill Valley Film Festival:

Sun. Oct. 7, 5:30 pm at the CineArts@Sequoia theater in Mill Valley
Sat. Oct. 13, 2:45pm at the Rafael Film Center in San Rafael
