Red String has a new dead tree publication

Red String Vol.2

The second graphic novel for the romantic webcomic, Red String, has been released by Dark Horse Comics. It's hit the comic shops and should start appearing in your local Borders, Waldenbooks, and Barnes & Noble over the next couple weeks.

This second book presents chapters eight to fourteen of an ongoing journey of self-discovery by creator Gina Biggs.

200 pages of my webcomic, and I'm a newbie here, rejoice! =3

Hello, everybody! I'm Alvaro "Lance Danger" Cortes Ortiz Jr. Hope you're all doing good, as for me, I'm doing great, thank you =D

I just signed up to this site here, out love for this medium. Also, my webcomic, Fred Peterson, The Mighty Warlord just turned 200 pages today, and chapter 7 is still in it's early going, so that's good =3

Webcomic Shorts moves to a daily updating schedule

webcomicshortsThree months after it began regular updates, the online anthology Webcomic Shorts is moving to a daily schedule. From Monday 28 January it will update every day of the week, including weekends.

Webcomic Shorts collects and publishes short comics by different creators in a variety of styles and genres, adding a new page every day, just like a regular webcomic. The site is edited by me, Willie Hewes, assisted by my army of unpaid molemen. I believe that quality comics don't have to be long, and that short comics are too rare on the web. Webcomic Shorts is about finished stories and instant gratification.

The site gathers a range of material, both exclusives and work published elsewhere on the web or in print. It is always looking for submissions in any genre or style. Visit the site for submission details.

DREAMNASIUM CRACKS 10k!

So, after roughly four months, DREAMNASIUM is still up and running and has cracked the 10000 hits mark. It's hosted at WEBCOMICS NATION as well as DRUNK DUCK and seems to have garnered a few fans. I'm both pleased and humbled by this as the whole thing is just an experiment for me to see if I could actually do it.

If you haven't taken a look yet, please do. Things are heating up in the second story arc and the first one is complete and archived. This is, i guess, PG-13 material so read and share accordingly.

Here's a sample.
