The deadline for early exhibitor registration at this year's Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland, Ore. has been extended by a full month, allowing a greater number of small press, independent, and professional comics creators a chance to snag a table at the extremely low price of only $10 for a half table, or $20 for a full table.

Science Ninja Big Ten, the Canadian punk band of webcomic creator Ghastly, of Ghastly's Ghastly Comic, and horror/fantasy novelist Peter Lloyd will be performing a live show Friday May 27th at 11PM at the Anime North convention in Toronto, Canada.

Phil Foglio of Girl Genius, John Lustig of Last Kiss, and Christopher Baldwin of Bruno and Little Dee will appear in a webcomics panel in Olympia, Washington (just one hour south of Seattle and two hours north of Portland), as part of the Cartoonists Expo of the Olympia Comics Festival on May 28th.
The Expo takes place in the Olympia Center (222 Columbia St. NW Olympia, WA 98501) in downtown Olympia from 1:30 through 7:00 and admission is FREE. Connor Moran of The Angriest Rice Cooker in the World will MC. The Comicbase blog has the list of nominees for the Clickburg Webcomic Awards. The awards are handed out to the best dutch and flemish webcomics and the winners are announced on May 1st at the Clickburg Webcomic Convention.
