Sluggy Freelance and Goats creators at Ubercon

Ubercon, primarily a gaming convention held in New York City, will feature Pete Abrams of Sluggy Freelance as a special guest. Along with Abrams, web comic creators Rob Balder (partiallyclips.com), Randal Milholland (somethingpositive.net), Jon Rosenberg, and Phil Karlsson (Goats) will hold a webcomics panel on Sunday Feb 16th. The panel begins at 11:00 AM and lasts for one hour. Ubercon begins on Friday the 14th at 4:00 PM lasting until Monday the 17th.

Christopher Baldwin of Bruno and Indigo Kelleigh of The Circle Weave will be sharing a table at a comics convention held at the Portland Memorial Coliseum in the Rose Quarter on Feb 23, 10AM - 5PM. (that's in Portland, Oregon, not Maine)
Reports on Last Weekend's A.P.E Convention in San Francisco

The Alternative Press Expo (or "A.P.E.") was held this past weekend in San Francisco. There were quite a number of online cartoonists there including Christopher Baldwin, Shaenon K. Garrity, Derek Kirk, and Tom Hart.
Other webtoonists and fans were in attendance and at least one has posted a report on APE: Barry T. Smith (Angst Technology). If you see more reports, post them here.
Ubercon 2003: Goats and a Homicidal Lop Rabbit

Pete Abrams, the, creator of Sluggy Freelance, will be at this year's Ubercon, held from the 14th to the 17th of February at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel just outside New York City. Abrams will be holding a number of events, including discussions and seminars on drawing and being successful in the webcomic trade and the official release of the Sluggy Freelance CCG 'Get Nifty', created by Rob Balder of PartiallyClips.
