Hey guys and girls, I had an idea spring into my head yesterday for a comic, and I wanted to make it. There is only one problem though. I can't Draw! i need help to find an illustrator to help me draw my comic. If anybody would like to help me, a 13 year old with an idea, then heres what you could do for me please. You post down pictures of what you think the charcter would look like. I will review these pictures and pick which one is best. now for the charcter description. His name is Clint Sean Leorricone ( yes i am a james bond freak and the good the bad and the ugly freak). he was an ordinary kids that one day came across a strange metal object. it looked like a metallic spine with four pointed edges down it. he picked it up but it slide up his arm up to his back. it the spiked into his spine, but the weirdness doesn't stop there. it allows him to conjure up any type of gun he wants, sort of like a hammerspace in real life, because the spine molds on his back shapes to what he thinks. the spine is retractable. he then finds out that there is more object like his that can turn into any weapons and tries to find the owners to help get the metal spine off. he also uses it to fight villians, not over the top villians like Doc ock but western themed sometimes, the magic holders, and crooks. when he is fighting these evil doers. he switches into http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/f/fa/ClintEastwood.JPGsomething like this ( once a again TGTBATU) freak). his weapons of choice is http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup/image_composition_and_techniques/isolated_images/isolated_on_white/166418_clint_eastwood_s_gun_357_magnum.php?id=166418 a 357 magnum, which he usually draws two. he has blonde hair, blue eyes, tall for a grade 9, sort of big feet, medium ears, skinny, medium nose, and large hands. by the way, I would be pleased if you drew this comic in a comedy styled way but it would have serious moments, sort of like el goonish shive, but you can draw however you want. Also i tried doing an idea on another website and was asked to pay them, so i don't want to pay anyone for help, so sorry. so if you posy your pictures of how he should be drawn in hero and civilian attire, please and thank you.

Hi potential future collaborators. I'm primary a dreamer who's aspiring to be a good storyteller one day. I'm 27 and is based in UK.

Visual art and creative writing has been my two main passions in life, and I want to pursue it as a career.

Being as both art AND stories are of such significance to me, I've naturally developed my stories in a very visual approach, and I aim to tackle them in visual formats - thus why I'm here. I believe webcomics is a good medium for beginners like myself to gain experience both in the craft AND in the collaboration process, which will be vital for my career prospects.

So, I'm looking for collaborators to tackle a short webcomic to begin with, and perhaps more in the future depending on the experience. I have dozens of stories dying to get out of my head. My stories primarily focus on character relationships revolving around an overall unique (I'd hope) story concept, often of a supernatural circumstance placed in an otherwise realistic world.

My stories also generally experiment with 3 main elements - non-linear timeline, distortion of memories and multiple perspectives of same events.

While these elements might not all exist in a single story, one or more of the 3 generally plays a large role in the concepts of my stories.

Experience wise, I have to admit that I have had no previous "finished" work to speak of, but I have been studying the craft of storytelling for some 5 years now, and generally rather analytical / critical of films and certain webcomics. I feel confident that I have some good idea of how to tell a story well, the question is whether I can pull it off really.

So enough about me, what am I looking for?

I'm looking for collaborators, not just an artist. I want to collaborate with fellow writers who're interested in bouncing ideas around, to critique, amend and co-create worlds and stories together.

I'm looking for self motivated artists with their own voice and vision, who wants to digest a story idea and experiment with visual concepts, rather than just drawing what they're asked. Essentially, I'm not looking for someone to draw the comic, but an artist to convert ideas into visuals.

I am currently starting a comicbook company based in Carson City NV and am looking for artists interested in helping to originate the company. I'm a writer, and designer, of several titles and need motivated artists who are dedicated and available for nearly constant brainstorming. The work is also very simple, the characters are already designed in detailed descriptions, the world and scenery is already designed with detailed descriptions, and the layouts are already done. All you have to do is draw what you are given. This is a chance to start with a new company at the top, but it is a job.

Being as the company is new, artists who have their own storylines and images are welcome to contact me to discuss creating their titles under the comic's label.

The art will be deadlined, but the position is UNPAID until the product is complete. The best way to explain this is, if you were writing, designing, and drawing your own comic you wouldn't get paid until the comic was complete and sold. You wouldn't buy the idea of a couch, or the promise of a TV, you buy a completed item.

I am willing to pay for copyrights, printing, and distribution of these products and will only charge for the use of my label.

I don't really know how to post in these places as of yet, but I'm learning. Technically, this is my first official post in this site, so please forgive me if I do anything wrong.

Anyway, I'm an eighteen year old writer trying to find an amatuer artist for a manga book or series. While others say that they might have great ideas, I leave my ideas up to the opinion of others. Fact is, I want to put out a manga/graphic novel with the idea of yuri behind it. To those who don't know, yuri is the Japanese word for lesbian content in things like anime, manga, books, etc. If you are homophobic, well... I suppose you wouldn't answer me, would you?

In all aspects, as of this moment, I do not have a written script or even a written story for an artist to work off from. My hopes are that I can have one-on-one conversations (even if they are mainly over IM or phone) with someone and that we can bouce ideas back and forth and possibly create something together. I'm not the cold sort where I grunt and give out a script and say, "you draw, me done".

this is a call to all writters :D i'm a 24 year old artist looking to start a webcomic but yeah my problem starts at he script, i don't have the skills required to produce anything worth showing anybody wen it comes to comic stuff so i'm looking for a writter that may have the opposite problem :D

 

i would prefer to do something based with a lot of humor... i'm kinda hoping or was wanting to do humor strips that could be posted once a week and maybe get to a point where two can be done a week .
