Advertising is our only revenue source (right now anyway) — which helped me pay the writers of Comixpedia some cash last year and hopefully will let us do so again. We have two options right now – the vertical sponsor ads on the right which run for set periods of time (one week, two weeks, etc) and the horizontal banner ads which run for a set number of impressions (everytime a banner loads on the site it is an impression).
I posted the new rate card for banner ads at Comixpedia. Although I took away the $5 option (it’s just too much hassle unfortunately) I bumped up the impressions for the other options.
Also, if anyone else has any ideas for Comixpedia to make some more money gracefully (I don’t want to turn the site into the million dollar homepage or anything) please post/email your suggestions.
