The most recent issue of Keenspace Monthly has articles on the pending Keenspace name change, including interviews with Ghastly and Scrubbo regarding the issue. There’s also an article on the launch of Blank Label Comics; on ending your webcomic and an interview with Keon Brown from Angry D. Monkey and Daniel VanderWerff from School Spirit.
Of note in the article on a new name for Keenspace is the fact that Chris Crosby announced that the new name would be Toonspace and be effective in June 2005, but later after strong negative reaction from Keenspace artists, announced that Keenspot would re-review a final new name for Keenspace. Although I haven’t checked the Websnark comments yet today, I don’t believe Crosby has announced yet the new, new name for Keenspace.
Incidentally, Chris Crosby posted this on the Space Forums.
He says: “The results of this poll will not necessarily mean anything, but please vote anyway. Thank you. “
I presume he meant “may not mean anything”, but whatever the case, it looks like a convincing majority win, and NOT for Webcomicspace.
