Fleen takes a look at Penny Arcade’s latest print venture, Attack of the Bacon Robots and focuses on the Afterword in which Tycho writes about “webcomics” and from the excerpt, it sounds very much like what Tycho has previously written online. Which is neither here nor there really. Maybe next Fleen will get around to reviewing the, ya know, actual cartoons in AOTBR…?
The line-up for Flight 3 is out – some great names on that list.
Jon Rosenberg reports that the Goats crew, Steven Cloud (BOASAS) and Andrew Bell (Creatures in My Head) will be at the New York Comic Con at artist’s alley table AA89. Apparently, there’s also a webcomics-like panel with folks from Blank Label Comics.
The webcomics panel (The Future of Comics: What Works, What Doesn’t, and Where It’s Going…Online) at the NY Comicon is on Sunday at 1:00.
It looks interesting; I’m hoping that the abundance of Blank Label cartoonists on the panel implies that it might make it into a Blank Label Podcast for those of us unfortunate enough not to be there.
