It was a joke (let me explain it to the humor impaired: Cho is well known. Kurtz is not so well known although increasingly gained media exposure. Therefore, refering to Cho (the more famous one currently) as Kurtz's (the less famouse one currently) buddy is unexpected as if I referred to an interview with muscian, Chris Isaak as "An interview with Xerexes' buddy.")

If that was Scott (which I doubt, since he wouldn't ordinarily use the Anonymous Fan Boy option for posting) and you actually did take offense, my apologies.
