WirePop announces the addition of Automatic

WirePop — www.wirepop.com — announced today the new webcomic “Automatic,” by Honoel A. Ibardolaza (HAI), will be joining the webcomic line-up on WirePop.com, the growing Manga and Manga-styled webcomic subscription magazine.

“If you read manga webcomics then chances are you have come across HAI’s site homanga.com and you probably enjoyed every entertaining page. Well we were really happy when HAI came on over to WirePop and submitted his upcoming webcomic Automatic.” said George Panella, WirePops’ Publisher “If you enjoy edgy and humorous manga then HAI is aimed to please. Be sure to catch this great new webcomic coming to WirePop. You won’t be disappointed.”

HAI, talked about “Automatic” saying, “This is one journey you will never forget. Set in the backdrop of a futuristic world obsessed with a mechanical bloodsport, Automatic is the tale of an orphan boy named Marco and his beat-up robot called Number Seven as they rise in ranks from lowly streetfights to professional arenas. Taking cue from classic literary greats, real-life experiences, and unfettered imagination, Automatic offers a rich distinct blend of storytelling that has something for everyone. Whether you are an anime or manga fan or someone who has a good taste for stories outside the ordinary, Automatic’s tale of friendship that transcends race, color and religion (and at times even beyond flesh and metal) is one that will keep you company for many days and nights.”

HAI had this to say about joining the Manga subscription magazine WirePop.com, “The problem with today’s over-crowded webcomics scene is that quality has taken a backseat in majority of the webcomics coming out. A large number of the webcomics I’ve seen are either poorly drawn or horrifyingly written, and for an avid webcomic reader like me, sorting through hundreds of links to find a decent webcomic with appealing stories has more often than not netted disappointing and costly results. I’ve been especially excited when WirePop.com was announced because now I can go to a single site and indulge myself to awesome art and stories. As a creator I’m very impressed with the professional courtesy they showed me, and as a webcomic reader and anime fan, I can say I’ve been blown away by the lineup of other talented creators and stunning artworks they have produced. I’ve never seen anything of this caliber before and I can’t wait to see what WirePop.com can come up next!”

“Automatic” will debut on the WirePop.com website when it is launched later this summer, and will be updated weekly. The latest episode of every WirePop webcomic will be free for anyone to read. “This new industry of publishing comics online is affording readers a new way to access quality, professional comics that was never really possible in the print world. The diligent reader can read the WirePop.com webcomics for free if they keep up with the weekly updates,” said Panella “but the paying subscriber will gain access to more content, extras and the ever growing archive of WirePop webcomics.” WirePop.com subscription prices will be $2.95 a month or $24.95 a year. Paying subscribers will have access to all on-going WirePop.com webcomics and archives plus exclusive subscriber only comics. They will also have access to exclusive content and features such as: Galleries, Downloads, Comic Bookmarks, Creator Journals and more.
