The Beat reports that the winner of March’s Zuda content was Black Cherry Bombshells by Johnny Zito, Tony Trov, Sacha Borisich and Alex Bruno and that the winner of the December Zuda contest, Pray for Death by Nick Doan and Daniele Serra is now updating, with a significant change to the art style.
Comics Worth Reading reports that the March competition (the fifth monthly competition) had declining numbers: this winner had 18,347 views and was marked a Favorite by 363. The original winner, High Moon, had 77,624 views and 456 Favorites.
Another former contestant in Zuda Idol, the webcomic Sam & Lilah by Jim Dougan and Hyeondo Park will start at ACT-I-VATE on May 1. Comics Worth Reading interviewed Dougan previously.
