It’s not often you find a new webcomic with amazing art (seriously, amazing flawless art) and a compelling premise. Throw in a slightly offbeat narrative structure and you’ve got PandaXpress which just recently finished its first chapter (it only began this January 2005).
The story of a girl, her scientist father and a (probably) genetically altered and/or robotic panda bear (and a number of other odd characters) it begins as a tale of the girl looking for her father, but clearly has much more on its mind as it explores a PandaXpress world made up of science, whimsy, roller-skating ninjas, paraphasic goats and odd victorian-dressed gunslingers.

Man it only took the Eisners like 3 years to catch up to PX!
It’s a nice nod to them to get nominated both for the webcomic version and the book.
