A bunch of comics-related websites have organized a Blog-Ads network (or in Web 2.0 lingo – a "hive") called "Thought Balloons" which is a way to advertize on a bunch of somewhat similar websites all at once. Check it out – I think it'll grow a bit as they find more sites appropriate for it.
Blog Ads is a good service – I wish more webcomics were on it, but it's harder to get into it now then it used to be.
