Not so much a spotlite I guess as a really bright flashlight: with 41 (forty-one I say!) webcomics still left going in the Daily Grind contest, we probably won’t see a winner until the world runs out of petrol or we put a gerbil on the moon. One entrant is so dedicated in fact that she paid dearly for Internet access (see entry for July 29th) in order to stay in the contest. Normal Life by Natasha Allegri is a wonderful bit of journal webcomicing with a soft, expressive style and sharp, funny writing. It can be a bit frustrating to use the Live Journal archive system to read a webcomic, but it’s worth it for this one.
