It's kind of a shame that with all of the categories that SXSW has it didn't have a webcomic award. SXSW is an extremely cool festival and gets decent coverage - any award for comics (online or not) would be a good thing.

Agreed -- on the other hand, to have a webcomic win an award in a category open to all websites (well, okay, all "weird" websites) is quite an achievement for the form in and of itself (and definitely quite an achievement for Ethan).
