Evidence of Cheating At Topwebcomics?

DJ Coffman published an email from Richard Mathis, the owner of the Topwebcomics top list for webcomics alleging cheating by one of the participants on his list. Mathis apparently modified his list code to turn the method of cheating against the alleged prepetrator. I was always aware that people gamed these types of lists but I had never actually read an explanation of one of the methods to do so. (link)

  1. Drama. Drama. Drama.

Looking forward to where this one leads, these are always entertaining.

It’s almost as if webcomics create more problems than comics themselves.

  2. This little brat’s gotta quit this garbage.

Yirmumah’s post proves he’s been cheating at TWC for months, and a quick look at Sketchbattle’s cheat sheet at Buzzcomix makes it obvious he’s been cheating over there too.

The worst part about it is he’s so unapologetic about stuff like this.

  3. Assuming this is all legit, is it actually saying this was by doing of Sambro. I rather doubt it. Could it not just be someone else doing it either thinking they could get away with getting extra votes for SB, or even worse, someone with something against Sambro, trying to get him in trouble?

  4. I guess I don’t know how to read the cheat sheet. How is this data showing there is cheating?
