Friday’s Alright For Fighting… And Weeping

I really think John Allison ought to take some pre-order money on his card project rather than cancel it. Maybe this is an investment opportunity! It’d be a shame for this idea (and the SGR art) never to see the light of day…

Tom Spurgeon links to an article on Fanboy Radio (which is aired locally in Dallas TX as well as the ‘nets).

Does anyone else see a little irony in getting a webcomic tattoo? These are pretty cool tats though – (I assume they’re all real) especially the Clango one and the White Ninja one.

And don’t forget to check out a few of the webcomics on Comixpedia’s little ol’ toplist. These webcomics are actually doing me a huge favor as I needed to better understand how this script works for a super-duper secret project I’m working on.

  1. As long as you’re talking webcomic tattoos, I remember a post not too long ago where Gabe said he finally got the Pacman tat his character has in the comic.

  2. Yeah, but that was mostly when they had it linked to the main page, I think. There are 9 of us on it now, which makes it a little more encouraging of a list to be on.

  3. You’ll always be able to claim you were in the top ten.

  4. Shoot, I moved up from #5 to #3 recently. Yeah, baby! Movin’ on up… to the east side… to that deluxe apartment in the skyyyy…

  5. Actually the toplist was one of a few new things that I suspected were causing problems – as it turned out i don’t think it was the culprit though which is why it’s still around.

postpn which I used for the site is great but sometimes the add-on modules can’t handle a site with a significant level of traffic (which Comixpedia definitely is on some days) because they’re inefficient in how they interact with the database.
