Imagine an alternate history of comics — one without censors or skittish distributors, where gay issues are expressed without resorting to metaphors, and creators can tell stories without interference. That alternate reality already exists — on the Internet, where gay cartoonists reach a worldwide audience.

  1. I was about to plug my own story here, but I see that Dan’s beaten me to it. Cool!

    The artwork in the story is from Neil B.’s Imitation of Life, but all of his comments got cut when the story was edited to fit on one page. Drat.

    I still think the story works, though. Hope you guys like it.
