Keenspot Signs The Devil’s Panties and Geebas on Parade

Jennie Breeden is joining Keenspot. Jennie Breeden will move her two popular webcomics The Devil’s Panties and Geebas On Parade from Keenspace to Keenspot.

UPDATE: Just to recap this week of Keen Exodus, six webcomic creators announced that they are or will be leaving Keenspot shortly: Paul Taylor, Brad Guigar, David Willis, Steve Troop, Kris Straub, and Paul Southworth. A wide-ranging discussion on Keen is going on over at Websnark here.

Chris Crosby

Chris Crosby created and published his first professional comic book, SNAP THE PUNK TURTLE, at the age of 16 in 1993. In 1996, he co-created/co-wrote the best-selling independent superheroine comic series SCORN, and co-founded the parody label Blatant Comics. In January 1998, AnotherUniverse.com commissioned his first regularly-published online comic, the weekly SNAP THE PUNK TURTLE, and in March 1999, he launched his first daily webcomic, SUPEROSITY. In early 2000, Chris created and co-founded the online comic network Keenspot. In March 2004 he launched SORE THUMBS with artistic collaborator Owen Gieni, and later went on to produce WICKEDPOWERED, LAST BLOOD, and CROW SCARE with Gieni.

  2. Incidently with everyone going on about Howard Taylor kicking off the Keen Exodus have we all forgotten that Josh Lesnik made the move to Indie-ville too? C’mon people, let’s see more love for Josh. (shakes fists) Love him! Love hiiiiim!

    He left too but there wasn’t nearly enough speculation on what that meant, not enough for my liking at least.

  4. Girly is still going, and Slipshine is still operational.

    Lesnick’s leaving made less of a splash because he didn’t really see a big jump in profit like Tayler did, AIUI.

  5. There was news over here when Josh left too. It’s just it caused less ruckus probably because no five else left with him.

  6. Also, he didn’t make any public announcements because he didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.
