Needed Design Fixes for Comixpedia Site

Drupal under the hood is working out quite well and now that I’ve looked at the theme system a bit it’s actually pretty straightforward and flexible.

What hasn’t changed of course if my utter ineptness with CSS-driven designs.

Despite the handiness of a flexible width design, what we need for this site is a fixed width design that allows for two 150 columns (right and left) and a center column that supports 600 pixels (or less) wide images without causing the format to break.  It also shouldn’t let images bleed out of the center column over the right-hand column.

I am not going to be able to do this but it seems like this should be a straightforward task for someone skilled in CSS.  Please contact me if you’re that person.

(Also you’re not imaging things, I did flip the columns today, putting the ads on the left.  Advertisers pay for you to see their ads, so they need to be where you’re going to see them.)
