Framed: Greenboro, NC, a monthly non-fiction comic documenting the various nooks and cranies of the title city, has made its Internet-debut on WebComicsNation. The comic, created by Chris Lowrance, previously appeared in print in the local alternative-weekly Yes!.
Framed: Greenboro, NC is one of a handful of non-fiction comics in America that takes a journalistic approach to story-telling. Each month, Lowrance investigates another unknown, quirky, or downright weird aspect of Greensboro, be it a beauty school or a legendary haunting, Pet Night with the mall’s Santa or Marie Osmond at a doll store.
Framed updates at the end of each month, with occasional bonus material in between. The archives currently consist of five months worth of stories.
