Not to be outdone by Sony, the Nintendo DS handheld will be able to surf the net using a custom made version of the Opera webbrowser.
The browser will become available in Japan in June. Considering that the DS has sold more than 6 million units in the fourteen months its been on the market, that is a sizeable audience that might be interested in reading webcomics on the DS’s 256×192 pixel windows.
