Paypal has announced new pricing intended to increase the convenience of purchasing digital goods.
PayPal’s new micropayments pricing is designed especially for payments less than $2. The new fees will enable merchants to process payments at a rate of 5 percent plus 5 cents per transaction.
This should make Scott McCloud giddy for a little bit. Since I’ve never been able to get bitpass to work on my site, this could be a good alternative.
You better believe this is a direct response to the Google Wallet rumors. A penny-pinching prizefight is on its way.
