Nate Piekos, creator of Blambot Comic Fonts & Lettering is inviting you to strap on your broadsword, put on that Cloak of Protection and get your spell book ready. On July 22, 2004 his new weekly comic strip, ATLAND, is debuting at PVComics.com.
It's the result of way too much Dungeons & Dragons in junior high. says Piekos. I've been a fan of the genre since I was little. I started out doing adventure – comedy ashcan comics so I thought it might be time to tackle something a little more ambitious.
ATLAND follows the adventures of Barry the Brave, a vain pretty-boy and Prince of Xerexos as he's swept up in a centuries-old tradition of high adventure. Joining him is; Lily, the last priestess of the love goddess; Bruce, the grumpy minotaur who likes his women like he likes his battles (large and feisty); and Inky the master thief, the hardest drinking water pixie under two feet tall.
Sounds fun. Good luck with it. 🙂
Hey, PV is just moving on up, huh? 🙂

The million-dollar question: Will Nate use a font, or his own lettering?
