If for no other reason than the big show Keenspot makes at Comicon every year (but wait, there’s more!) we’d have to label Comicon a “webcomic convention” (don’t mind the non-webcomic comics everywhere!). It’s taking place this year on July 17-20.
Keenspot will have one booth this year featuring Keenspot comics and a few Keenspace comics. Keenspot is also having another webcomic panel, this year on Friday, August 2 from 3PM to 4:30PM. (More details at the Comicon site.) [Editor’s note: As it turns out, this is not the correct time and date, but rather the schedule for the 2002 panel. Comic-Con has yet to release the official schedule for this year. Comixpedia apologizes for the error.]
Based on a completely unresearched scan of the Keenspot message boards we can provide at least this list of artists showing up at the Keenspot booth:
Ryan Duchane
Brad Guigar
Al Foreman (if they let him in the country…)
Clint Hollingsworth
John Troutman
Stay tuned to Comixpedia for more details on lots more webtoonists showing up in San Diego and daily updated odds on whether Chris Crosby will in fact appear this year.
I’m going! Woohoo 🙂
Rich
Barring economic catastrophe, I will be there. If I can get enough artists for http://www.modernevil.com
I’ll be there, Pimping my own comic as well as my fellow CFC’ers.
I believe I will be there at the funnel cake booth, in case people would like anything signed by the funnel cake caulking gun, perhaps powdered with a bit of cinnamon. As an added bonus, there will also be supermodels…
…at the opposite end of the building. My booth will feature 47-year-old male truckers dressed as Cherry 2000.
The day and time of the Keenspot panel posted above may be incorrect, as you’re linking to the 2002 programming schedule, and as far as I know the 2003 schedule has yet to be announced. Keenspot will have a panel again this year, but the actual date and time is still unknown.
