Advertising kind of died during the summer so for September I'm breaking out "back-to-school-mayhem" style rates. All ads purchased on Comixpedia run on both comixpedia.com and comixpedia.net. You can buy horizontal banner ads by the impression or vertical ads by the time period.
For the horizontal banner ads the prices are the same but you'll get 4 times the stated impression so instead of 5000 impressions for $10 you'll get 20,000. The full rate card is here.
I use Blog Ads for the vertical ads and they've recently rolled out the ability to offer three sizes of image/text combinations so I'm going to try that out. You now have a choice of:
- Hi-rise Ads: Image size is maximum 150×600 pixels, 35kb file size plus 300 characters of text
- Standard Ads: Image size is maximum 150×200 pixels, 16kb file size plus 300 characters of text
- Mini Ads: Image size is maximum 150×100 pixels, 5kb file size plus 100 characters of text
I've lowered the standard ad rate to $10 per week and you can get the mini ad for two weeks for $10 (you can also get the mini ad for 1 week for $10 so don't pick that one!). I've got the hi-rise priced at $30 for a week currently. All of the gory details can be found here.
Also if anyone who has advertised with me through Blog Ads would be inclined to give me a "customer testimonial" about it – I would like to add some of that to our Blog Ads page. Post a comment here or email me at xerexes AT comixpedia DOT com.
