Winner of mtvU Strips Contest signs Development Deal with United Features

Editor and Publisher reports that Arizona State University student Tony Carrillo–the winner of the first-ever “mtvU Strips” contest–will sign a development deal with United Feature Syndicate.

Carrillo’s strip F Minus was chosen by “Dilbert” creator Scott Adams of United, “Get Your War On” creator David Rees, and nearly 200,000 online voters at mtvU.com. That’s the Web site of mtvU, which broadcasts to more than 700 college campuses.
